Privacy

Who this notice is for

This notice explains the privacy practices of makesomeai.com.

Contact Scout

When you run Contact Scout, the website sends the company website addresses you enter to a same-origin Cloudflare Pages Function. The function sends limited public-search evidence to Tavily and asks DeepSeek to verify only a public business email and company LinkedIn page. Do not enter personal information, private URLs, credentials, or confidential material.

GitHub Star Radar

When you run GitHub Star Radar, the website sends only the Monday and Sunday dates you select to a same-origin Cloudflare Pages Function. The function queries public GitHub star events through GH Archive in Google BigQuery, then reads public GitHub repository metadata to remove ineligible repositories. Do not enter personal information, credentials, or confidential material.

Zhejiang admission tool

The Zhejiang admission tool processes volunteer spreadsheets, scores, ranks, school codes, and major codes locally in your browser. It does not upload or store those inputs. To understand anonymous tool use, it sends only one of four fixed event names and the 2026 tool year to our own endpoint; it does not send volunteer content, scores, ranks, school names, or major names.

Storage and retention

Contact Scout does not create an application database or save lookup batches after the response is returned. GitHub Star Radar caches completed public weekly ranking responses at Cloudflare for up to 24 hours to control query costs. For the Zhejiang admission tool, we keep daily aggregate anonymous metrics long-term. A one-way daily technical digest is derived from request information only to estimate same-day unique visitors, and is deleted after 48 hours. Results remain in your browser until you leave or refresh the page.

Information collected through the website

The website does not provide account creation, advertising campaigns, or third-party analytics tags. Like most online services, infrastructure providers process technical request information needed to operate and secure the service. The Zhejiang admission tool additionally uses a short-lived, one-way daily digest of technical request information for anonymous same-day measurement; we do not retain raw IP addresses or browser strings in the application database.

External services

Contact Scout uses Cloudflare Pages Functions, Tavily Search, and DeepSeek. GitHub Star Radar uses Cloudflare Pages Functions, GH Archive through Google BigQuery, and the GitHub API. Those providers operate under their own privacy practices.

Changes

We will update this page before adding accounts, advertising, third-party analytics, or another feature that changes how information is handled.
